Cool, sounds like a good idea! Not only will it look cool, it should make it easier to find my cup holders at night!

Hi Mike, There are 2 attachments below. It's a rectangular hole the clip goes into.

Garpike, you were right - it is blue plastic. Mine had shifted and was throwing white light down so......

Hey....does your bulb have a cover that slides over it or is that it?
The bulb on mine is all enclosed. So cool that you got the blue plastic thingy though.

It appears that a small part of the unit may have snapped off - hence the white light I had. That's the whole part and the blue plastic is glued in. I may have to use some rubber cement or tape to hold the unit in place. Hmmm.... wonder if a little Velcro would work??? Maybe I should take a better look up inside, but my back is out right, so I'm on my way to the Doctor. Later

I have a light! I never knew cause it isn't very bright at all. I was wondering what it would take to change it to an LED?

if you want good l.e.d. lights check out oznium (http://www.oznium.com/). i wish i had found this site before i put mine in as they have more variety of color and styles than you can find in auto part stores. i am actually thinking of changing mine to the million color lites. having the lites cycling thru the full spectrum of colors would be a really cool effect and then just think what it would look like as the intrument cluster with that. never get bored watching that speed at nite..
you should find everything you need at oznium and the prices are reasonable.

After I checked out Oznium's site I thought that their pre wired LED's would be easy to install over my cup holders, but I honestly have no idea what I'm doing.... would it be easy to install? My dad has some wiring knowledge and could help me. these things are so cheap I'm just gonna fill my car with them! haha!

hey threelake,
all instructions included with the lites.you should have no problem putting in the lite kits.now don't stop there, as you saw they do have lites for everything. my next purchase is the inferno underbody kit. gets pretty dark at night and us old folks need plenty of light to see.lol
if you ever look to upgrade sound you should check out the dual illuminite speakers.i have a pair of blue 6x4 in my doors, had to cut the door panels for these, and it is a really cool way to add interior lighting to your ride. just another thought for you. let us know how the projuct ends.

WaveHey, quite nice. for me, I'd rather the speakers be hid as not to elude to anything too nice to entice thieves. Outta sight, outta mind.

Very nice though and I bet it puts the stock system to crying shame.Frown(that's me cause I still have stock stereo)
