Well after two weeks in the shop at the dealer my Cruiser is still baffling the techs. So, they are having a tech from Chrysler come in and look at it. This is getting ridiculous. After doing all that research on the PT Cruiser and finding that it has a very high consumer rating, according to Consumer reports that is. I get a problem Cruiser. It's a good thing I like my Cruiser. So, I'll put up with this awhile longer!!!!!!!!! ---------- '05 Dream Cruiser Series 4, 5-speed, stainless BTG cat/back dual exhaust, Roady 2 XM satellite radio, power antenna, BTG strut tower brace and hood struts Hurst competition shifter, K&N air filter(so far)

What have they done so far? You said the wanted to change the PCM, did they? They also changed the IAC (idle control) right? Keep us up to date and call thier 1 800 customer service number if they dont give you satisfaction! Atleast make them cover a rental, this is a new car for goodness sake! ---------- Rich 04 Dream Cruiser 3 #1127 5 speed

They replaced the idle control motor and the PCM. But, the problem persist. Chrysler covered the first 5 days of the rental, I have to pay the next three days(already past) and the dealership is covering the rest of however long it takes to get my Cruiser back in good working order. ---------- '05 Dream Cruiser Series 4, 5-speed, stainless BTG cat/back dual exhaust, Roady 2 XM satellite radio, power antenna, BTG strut tower brace and hood struts Hurst competition shifter, K&N air filter(so far)

Thats great but you shouldn't have to pay for any days! This is thier fault like I said this is a new car there should be no problems! My 04 DC3 has only 1877 miles but has been OK, knock wood from new, allmost a year! ---------- Rich 04 Dream Cruiser 3 #1127 5 speed
