I just received a call from the service manager inquiring about the cat/back exhaust system on my cruiser. He wanted to know when it was installed. I guess they are looking for an excuse for Chrysler's product by blaming the problems on the consumer. Anyway, anybody know if the cat/back exhaust system could be the culprit for the idle/stalling problems? or is this just what I think ,looking for excuses!
The cat/back system has been on my Cruiser from about 3500 miles. I now have about 8800 miles on the odometer. The idle/stalling problems started about 7 to 8 hundred miles ago. And shortly after purchasing the Cruiser the check engine light did come on momentarily. This was with the stock exhaust system. Of course it was checked by the dealer service department and they said it didn't register and fault codes, so it's fine .LOL.
