On Sunday, October 21st, the North Coast PT Cruisers will have a Fall Fun Fest from 12:30 pm to 6:00 pm. We have reserved the pavilion at Veterans Park in Mentor. Kids, Grandkids, Nieces, Nephews, orphans, Joe Rossman, are all welcome. This event is FREE and open to anyone who drives a PT Cruiser, whether you belong to our group or not. Donations to the American Red Cross are optional, as you see fit.
We will meet at the Burger King on Route 306 and I-90 at noon, and will depart from there at 12:15 or so. If you will not be meeting us at Burger King, here are the directions:
Go North on Route 306 to Route 2. Go East on Route 2 to Route 615. Go North on Route 615 approximately 2 miles to Veterans Park. You will pass Mentor High School, Munson Road (traffic light) and Hopkins Road (stop sign). Route 615 changes to Center Street and becomes a two rather than four lane road at this point. Veterans Park will be on the left. The pavilion is to the rear of the parking lot. . There are numerous signs along the way
The Fabulous (HiYo) Silver, Man!! will be our DJ. Costumes are OPTIONAL (not required), but you may wear them if you wish. Mrs. PT-MD and I hope we are not the only ones to do so. Decorate your car rear shelf with something appropriate, if you wish.
Bring a can of soup for a soup pot, which will be running all afternoon. Please do not bring cream or tomato soups. Bring your own dinner and drinks and a dish to share.
We will play games…and a there will be a real wood fire in the fireplace. Coffee and Hot Chocolate will be available gratis (free). There are restrooms, a playground, and nature trails nearby.
