North Coast pt Cruisers Labor Day Super Cruise-in…wanna Ride a Rocket?. Can't Post

Reminder: THIS IS THE LAST DAY TO ORDER T-SHIRTS.

Wanna ride a ROCKET ? Actually the question is: Do you want to ride in a ROCKET CAR?

If you do, now is your chance. Just come to the North Coast PT Cruisers SUPER CRUISE-IN, this Monday, September 3rd (Labor Day) from 3pm till ??? This event was created just for you folks who are not able to attend our regular Monday night Cruise-In because you work late on Monday, or because it's too far to drive and return home that late in the evening.

This will be a FAMILY FUN DAY. Bring the kids, or grandkids. Bring a picnic supper/late lunch and something to share. If you can’t cook, there are restaurants nearby. Our Niagara Falls Cruise Video will be shown continuously on our GIANT 13 INCH SCREEN(S). There will be RC time trials.

There will be LOTS of door prizes, but you must register your car with Stefanie in order to be eligible. One prize per family/car. There might also be a raffle.

Ron Heitman, the noted car builder extraordinaire, will be at the event with his World Famous ROCKET CAR, and will take us for rides around the parking lot, or wherever. If you are not familiar with this car, it was made from one of the ‘flying turns rocket cars” salvaged from the old Euclid Beach Amusement Park.

Joe Rossman, “the Motor Doctor” (WERE –AM 1300, Tuesday 7 – 9 pm) will be here with his PT on Steroids (a winged Viper) and the beautiful Steele Prowler might also show up.

Rumor has it that Carmen and Schroeder will also bring their PT Cruisers, provided there is NO chance of rain.

Dave (from Pittsburgh) has promised to make an appearance, and we expect a few other PA cars to show up also. PT Woody might also make an appearance, if he is feeling better.

Tim Mikol, (Tim’s Auto Trim, Macedonia, (440 522-1680) will be on hand to do on the spot pin striping and side body graphics, at reduced pricing. Tim will apply “swatches” of various colors to the side of your car so you can get a good idea of what looks best to you. You can also walk around and see many examples of his handiwork.

Brad Milbrand (HiYo Silver, Man !!) a professional Disc Jockey, will be spinning oldies throughout the day, and perhaps can be persuaded to cue up our theme song, “Gotta Have A Cruiser Blues” once or twice. Brad is available for Weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, Cruise-Ins, etc. Talk to him and ask for a card.

Alan Forro, a highly rated NE Ohio Radio Control racer will be on hand to demonstrate his prowess with his gas powered RC Cars. We will have a course set up to run time trials with prizes to be awarded in six different classes for all of you. So…..BRING YOUR RADIO CONTROL CARS….ALL SIZES AND LETS SEE WHO IS THE FASTEST!! Time trials will be conducted and run by our own Ken and Sue.

The Plain Dealer will have a few words on this event in the Sunday paper, in the auto section, and there might also be a crew from a local TV station. We have been asked to write an article and provide photos for the new PT Cruiser Magazine (same folks who do the Miata Magazine), so please take some hi resolution photos and send them to me…..they might get published. They prefer color slides by the way.
