October 7th - Cruisin' for a Cure, Hokes Bluff, AL

 Please mark your calendar for an important event coming up October 7th. Sue and I have decided to team up with Wanda and Jimmie Posey for Cruisin’ for a Cure in Hokes Bluff, Alabama, in lieu of our Annual Picnic. This event is sanctioned by the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. We all know someone that has been touched by this devastating disease and we feel this is a great way to show that the PT family is willing to help our PT Ladies and others in helping to raise awareness and find a cure! Registration is $15.00 by September 15th, $20.00 the day of show. There will be Arts & Crafts and Vendors. Breakfast will be served from 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. and concessions available after 10:00 a.m. Budget Inn in Hokes Bluff (256-543-3790) ($89.95/night) and Roadway Inn (256-543-0323) ($115.00/night) are holding 15 rooms each for us for our out of state folks. This is Nascar Race Day at Talladega, so that’s the reason the rate is so high, the hotel rooms are limited and they will only hold them until July 25th. Just wanted our out of town guests to know that the host hotels have agreed to hold the rooms at the PT Cruiser rate until July 30th. We hope to see you there!!

Just a reminder that our annual event is less than a month away. As mentioned above, we will be attending the October 7th Cruisin' for a Cure car show in support of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. I would like to encourage you that if you haven't sent in your registration, please do so asap. This is a big show and we want to make sure we have plenty of room to park together. It would be great if we could have a BIG PT showing for this one! It should be a fun day of entertainment, good food, great venue and lots of friends.
