Odd noise coming from Front Passenger Side Wheel

There is a "growling" noise coming from the front passenger wheel when braking. The noise doesn't start until the speed reaches somewhere between 10-15 mph and only occurs while braking. The noise continues until I come to a complete stop with it becoming louder the slower I'm moving. It's not a loud noise, but is noticeable and I can feel a slight vibration in the brake pedal when it occurs. Sometimes the noise and vibration are there and sometimes they aren't. I recently had new rotors and brakes installed on my PT because I assumed that was where the noise was coming from. I didn't hear the noise for 1-2 weeks, but it has returned. I've read some other posts and I've seen bearings mentioned as a possible cause for the noise. I know describing a noise using words isn't always an easy thing, one man's "growling" is another man's "deep whine". Any suggestions/info/relaying of similar experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. ----------

It turned to be a ball joint. No noise, no vibration, lots of smiles. ----------
