Oil pressure light

Hi. I have a 2006 PT and I just took a quick trip to the store and when I got out and started the engine to leave, I got a chime and my oil pressure light came on. I drove to my next stop, which was the gas station anyways, and shut it off and checked the dipstick. Everything is good there. Started it again and no oil light. Any ideas? The dealer was the only one to do it's one oil change. I have only 4800 self driven miles on the car and I will have had it a year in February. I'll take it in anyways so I can get something on record just in case since that "generous" 1 year warranty is coming to an end- but just wondering if I should be worrying about it too much. ----------

My 06 did it right about the same time.... mileage wise. nothing ever came up again. It says in the owners manual to immediately turn the car off and have it towed..... but I shut the car off and back on and it never came on again! GOOD LUCK! Let me know what they say. ----------

I called the dealer. The service writer said something about the electronic sensor sometimes being loose or shorting. I'm taking it in Saturday AM for them to look at it. ----------

Went in to the dealer. They checked the stored error codes and nothing was found. Oil pressure was within specs too. They figure the oil sensor must have stuck for just a second and then the light won't go off until you recycle the switch (shut it off and turn it back on). Good enough answer for me. ----------

My '03 Turbo did the same thing soon after I purchased it (used). Took it to the dealer and they diagnosed a faulty oil pressure sensor. Has recurred since the sensor was replaced. ----------
