That's Funny, I guess I walked into that. I order a Perfect Fit bra from Carbras.com. There out of stock for my 06 so there are offering me a Premier Colgan Custom bra for the same price as the other on. I just want to now what is the difference in to two. ---------- Greg nhcruzer "Live in the Moment" NEPTCC 06 Limited Turbo Dual Exhaust Cold air intatake Inferno undercar lighting AR Casino Chrome rims

Hi Greg.I do not know the difference but just keep in mind to remove the Bra from time to time because moisture trapped underneath can cloud your clear coat if allowed to stay......Mike ---------- Mike Casabianca His: 2001 Black LE with Auto Transmission, BullDog Signs Flames, WeatherTec wind deflectors, cargo area mat, PT trash can, PT valve stem caps and Dart's coldair intake, chrome tail and headlight bezels, chrome bumper inserts, chrome license plate pillow, chrome fender trim, 1940's retro chrome on front and back fenders, door spears, chrome hatch door trim, chrome gas door, brushed chrome door sills, billet door pins, custom "BlueHaze" dash mat, MRK Group lugnut covers, dome light trim, etc. and the chrome goes on...... If it gets wet at all remove it immediately. The moisture will get under the clearcoat and you'll have lovely white spots on your paint. ---------- 2005 Stone White SRT4 2004 Graphite Auto

Hi, I have a Chrylser OEM bra and a Colgan.....The Chrylser is junk. It has cheap flaps that tuck in the seals around the headlights and they dont stay there!!.....But the hood part that says PT Cruiser is cool...The Colgan is by far the best that I have tried so far...Had it for my 86 IROCZ,SC Tbird and now PT....Its a pain to get on sometimes, but it stays......I really havent tried the perfect bra nor have I seen it. But I never had any problems with the bras. But like everyones says you must take them off to air out and never leave them on when its wet. regards, Mike

I love my Perfect Fit Bra....it does fit perfect and doesnt flap at all. Do take it off if it rains....I had cloudy spots several times but the hot florida sun took care of those in a day.

Go with a clear bra, like the one from StickerCity.com. One install and forget about it. Mine is still virtually invisible after 2 years, no discoloration, no chips, no nothing. Only when standing up close to it and knowing where to look do you see a faint line at the edge of the bra. Go to the website, call the number and ask for Andy. SantaCruzr ----------

Hey that sounds really cool! Does it do a good job of keeping the bugs out of the radiator too? Will have to check it out. ----------

Do you have to drill something under the hood to make them stay? (I've got that chrome hood liner underneath.) ----------

No you do not have to DRILL anything With the PF Bra and U should know I have the Chrome Liner also You do have to take 2 exisiting screws out of the hood and 2 on each fender well and replace them with the snap heads that come with the Bra. Least that is the way I recall it and that was 3 years ago and given my track record for remembering 3 days ago I could be off a screw or two (and I am not just talking about the car)

I know you do, silly—that's why I asked. I don't understand how it fits. So you undo some of the same screws that hold the hood liner in place? No drilling? So I could even do it? Sounds like maybe I would need to enlist my brother's help. ----------

Oh, another question for the PT savvy. Are the hoods shaped the same for 2001 and 2006 or 2007? The reason I ask is that when the body shop replaced the front end of my car, the Chrysler badge is the wider one used on the newer models. I noticed that everybody's wings showed through the liner. in other words, when I ordered, would I say I have a 2007? ----------

Would that be a half a bra? A bra with the ends cut out? (sounds kinky) So how would one keep the bugs out with one of these clear jobbies? ----------

Hood snaps should be the same but the front end on the 06's and up is different so you need the one for your year PT. Since you have the bigger emblem on the hood it won't show through like the smaller one does but who cares since you'll remove the bra when you get to the shows. The PF Bra still fits mine even after I changed the grill. ----------

You dont unless you want to go with the Florida Screens.. The Clear Bra is a most excellent protection against rock chips etc.. Costly BUT then again if you are protecting a Big Bucks Flame job its worth it, IF YOU HAVE ANY MONEY LEFT after the Big Bucks paint job .. I didnt. ---------- AUCRZR on Horsepower TV Show http://webpages.charter.net/tigertown/hptv.3g2
