PT GT Resale-Ouch

Wow, I got this half baked idea to deal the beloved Dream Cruiser on a used SRT-8 Charger. So I go check out PT GT prices in the Auto Trader and nearly die. I know the SRT Neon is a faster due to weight and gearing, but I see them going for 5-10 grand more than a PT GT of the same year. And The PTGT cost 5-10 more new and has way more stuff in it. Oh well, its not so bad being stuck witha Dream Cruiser. At least I have cruise control, and my back windows are power. ---------- 04 DC3#384, returned via lemon law. NOW 04 DC3#392 Both are 5 speeds. Plastic intake,ATX TB,Airbox gutted,Iridiums,Magnecores,K&N,Discless Supertrapp,SRT-4 boost gauge, Hurst STS,XM,Mopar Powered Sub, 6 Silverstars, Rear fogs, Mopar hitch 69 GTS 340 survivor, 70 Duster 340+6, 71 Valiant Survivor, 77 M880(Cummins power), 93 W250 Cummins, 2007 Caravan SXT I bleed MOPAR BLUE- Good Riddance Daimler!

There are also a heck of a lot less Neon SRTs around than PT GTs so the Neon SRTs are harder to find. The Dream Cruiser's price was really over inflated for what it was. As for the cruise control when I had my '03 GT I rarely could use it because of traffic, even on the freeway. Rear power windows are a big whoop because I never use them. You will forever be fated to seeing my taillights cause you will never be able to keep up. I still think the '03 on up Dream Cruisers were great looking cars. ---------- 2005 Stone White SRT4 2004 Graphite Auto

Yo Tractorfix I totally understand the problem!!!! I was conteplating a trade in on my DCS #3 & was highly disappointed on the trade in value. There is no listing for the DCS. The fact that this is a "Special Series" of a "PT" with many x-tra features ie: the Blue tinted windows, the auototranny, which I DO LOVE, because when I feel the Indy 500 comin' on I will slap gears as if.... Yep I'm gonna get a ticket! If I don't slow her down! the two tone original colors exterior & interior the heated seats, which I am totally enjoying right now in the freezin winter weather! The HO Turbo, etc.... So my thought is Keep her, I'm still havin FUN!!! ---------- Crystal~ Life is like road trip & really sweet in a PT Cruiser! #1276

Now, don’t go trying to fault Mean Green for having great tastes. After all, there’s nothing wrong with the ’02 Dream Cruisers that a coat of Tangerine Pearlcoat and new upholstery won’t fix. Kidding, of course ----------
