Re: [mars9333] Petunia Can't Post

We just got back from our first trip with PeTunia We left Eureka last Friday with 12 miles showing on the odometer got home with a little over 1700 miles. She never missed a beat. We took the slow back roads for the first 300 miles then down I5 through the Valley and up and over the grapevine. We did have to put the top up when it got over 100 degrees and only got a minor sunburn. We came back north on US395 along the eastern side of the Sierras to Reno then over the Sierras and coast range with the top down, a beautiful ride.
In the whole 1700 mile we saw only two other convertibles.
You know we love the car; Carolyn was up at 6AM to wash it before going into town.
To people with tops……eat your heart out Smile

Re: [mars9333] Petunia Can't Post

Petunia goes in for her first checkup today yep, 3 weeks 3,000 miles and she is running great. She hasn’t got flamed yet because the painter has been so busy, but that will come soon. This weekend we are looking at another 1,000 trip up into Oregon …

here is when she arrived...along with 2 other convertables...
