For some unexplained reason the base or standard model is not currently being shown on the Chrysler Web site. GT optioned out is over 28K and I think thats a bit steep. For 5K more you can get a 300C which is a much better car..............will wait till they arrive in the dealerships and they have a lot full of them before I begin serious looking.......Have a great day! ----------

ummm valid point about the rag top........but the Cruiser lacks a 5.7 Litre Hemi Engine which kinda makes up for the steel top, especially here up North where a convertible is good for about 5 or so months out of the year....Have a great day! ----------

Pam & Gene told me Friday night that our State PTCC Sponser, Jasper Chrysler, has ordered a RED ONE!!!!!!! I can just see me running around York Mountain with my Red Fish Nets on and my face blowing in the wind. Sure hope the Duck Tape does blow off my face holding back the wrinkles!! WOW!! Would love to have one!! Raglady ----------

Base is apparently the "Special Editon" model shown on the Chrysler web site with the instructions to "see dealer for details" However, the dealers are completely in the dark as to what this is........they are interested in the GT which is the 30K model which I think is a bit steep......and then there is the additional markup which Im sure is just around the corner???????? Ha! Not for me! Have a great day! ----------

umm was merely posting my thoughts regarding the difference in pricing of these two cars. Both are nice and both have their own distinct features as well. However, Chrysler is gradually upgrading their Cruiser prices so they are getting out of reach for some of us like myself and this was my point that the price gap between some of their products is narrowing so much that maybe the top priced is a better value. Really like both of them but My 2001 Limited edition is the one that I will hang onto as it is first of all paid for and second of all so far problem free......Have a great day! ----------
