Dear my fellow PT's- Thanks for the interest of my new owners worries for PTCRUISERPROBLEMS.COM. He finally picked me up in Oslo, Norway and brang me home for his house. Now I do feel like a member of that family and their love they giving me. Now, he sat down with some dollars to shop for some details for me that I ordered. I'm a 2001 model and I do need some refreshing details and trims around to look nice. but during that purchase session he found that ptcruiserclubstore do not ship abroad??? Why is that? My order was for $ 250 but it was a waste of time. I sign for that petition. Maybe we should start a new one? LETS GO ABROAD WITH OUR PRODUCTS YEAH ----------

HI ANDY, Sorry for your trouble. Do either of you have a friend or relative in the USA? Why not ask them to submit your order, you pay them plus shipping and handling? I did that for a friend in Canada. There are rules and complications regarding sending overseas. I know that, as lived in Europe for many years. I will be glad to send to MODS to anyone overseas as long as the items will pass customs. If anyone is in that situation and you want something, just PM me and we will make arrangements. Good luck, Mickey ---------- 2005 ELECTRIC BLUE CLASSIC Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you have decided to look beyond the imperfections

Many of the accessory items found in the USA do not fit properly on the European made models, as I have been informed by my friends in the UK. The overseas shipping of larger accessory items is cost prohibitive also, let alone the insurance factor and potential for claims. Customs is another matter since they have a unique way of opening the package at their discretion, and then not repackaging safely. I have shipped items all over the world, and finally quit shipping anything to your area also simply due to the hastle of so many departments being involved in the process. You could contact the UK Cruisers for their input and European sourcing at ukcruisers.net to find out additional information as to what USA accessories will and won't fit properly. Third party shipping is possible from the USA, but there is still a margin for error and time delays. Good luck with finding sources closer to you that can save you time and money, and don't give up the search for making your cruiser just the way you want it . ---------- Old cruisers never die, they just go down a different highway. _________________________

Dear oldschool thank you for your informative answer. I hope you didn't found my post too rude. I'm not always think fast enough in english language and polite code that we do not have in norway, and then of course, it's a bad habit of mine to write as I speak.. and of course i respect your answer and do understand the problems that runs at risk abroad. thank you again ----------

Hi Andy, I am sure no one thought you were rude, only frustrated, as anyone would be. I was the same way overseas but then it was for clothes. My daughter experienced the same thing I did living overseas, only hers was getting her mom to send her video tapes of The Sopranos, MTV Music videos. All she did was call me, "Mom, I need some more tapes." So I sympathize in what you are going through, Good luck with your cruiser, Mickey ---------- 2005 ELECTRIC BLUE CLASSIC Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect.
