Pulled the trigger Can't Post

I found the car I was searching for to get my lovely wife. Thank You for the advice in previous posts. 2002 limited, Inferno red, all options. 1300 miles on the clock. I will be picking it up Saturday, anything I should be especially watchful for?

CoolCongrats. With that little mileage it is a new car.The biggest thing you should be watchful for is the MOD BUG.....That pesky terminal infection that hits all of us cruiser owners.........Welcome and God Bless........Mike.BTW.....I Think your next purchase should be a broad band radar detector. With the GT Horsepower there is a tendency to punch the pedal and the radar detector will help keep you honest.

The guy collects cars and has 21 cars all with low mileage. I did a carfax and NTF. He says he's selling because of health issues.

Welcome to the club! You're gonna love it here! How much did you get her for? I bought my 2006 Classic with 26 or 28,000 miles on it (don't remember anymore). So, you found a great car. Inferno Red is an amazing color.

Happy Cruisin'!Dance

Cheering Congratulations to your wife on a great car. I have a 2005 and when I got it, had 13,000 miles and it still smelled new. It is just like a new car and I have had no trouble at all with it. Maybe with the Mod Bug that affects us all. Nice to have you join this forum, Mickey

It is automatic. remember this car is for my lovely betrothed. It has all the options available and about 4K in other custom work. When I get back I will see if I can figure out how to post a pic or two.

Re: [MICKEY41] Pulled the trigger Can't Post

I don't know about the jewelry or mod bug thing. Between the "Roman Chariot" customizing and all the chrome strips added by the previous owner it has enough glitz to be hung around a pimps neck. She wants Sirius radio and maybe a homelink for the garage door, My Lincoln has that, so she has seen how nice it is. Do they make a vizor mounted homelink? What kind of Sirius radios fit best?
BTW she knew it was coming I couldn't leave the house for two days without a few questions!

Beautiful PT! Very nice and totally loaded. You may love your Lincoln... but your wife will get all the head-turns, nods, and looks. For some special reason... PT's still have that knack of being highly-visible and getting all the attention.

My mother purchased a PT after seeing mine, and (last I heard) my dad is still on the hunt for his ideal PT...a GT like mine but in Inferno Red like your wife's.

Regards!

I tried going to this web site but got some kind of an error message. I double checked how I typed it and did it a second time with same results. What am I doing wrong???

Re: [wa9zug] Pulled the trigger Can't Post

Mickey and Charlie,

I was also able to visit the page by copying and pasting (just tried it again and it's still working). All you have to do is select the link he posted then right click and select "Copy".

Then, in a new browser window, right click in the address bar and select "Paste". Then hit the Enter key. Viola! You're there!!

Let me know if you still have trouble. I can always copy the images to my website and post them here for you.

**EDIT**

I decided that since ebay only keeps the page for 30 days after the auction ends, it would be a good idea to copy the pictures to my site anyway. This way, anyone comming accross this thread in the future will still be able to see them.

Here they are:

So, there's the pics. I don't plan on closing my site any time soon, so *hopefully* they'll be here for a while.

Later,

Ray
