Rear Hatch leak

I have found that I have water leaking through the rear hatch somewhere when it rains. The car can be sitting still. Like yesterday, I got off work opened the hatch to put my pack in and there is water sitting in the latch area. This tells me the water is coming in through the liftgate itself. I have reset the spoiler to make sure that isn't the problem (sealed it with marine sealent).
Could there be a problem with the window seal? Anybody have a similar issue?
