Removing Black Dash Bezel

Question for all you guys out there. I am going to install the Sirius FM Direct Audio Relay this weekend. I need to be able to get to the back of the stock radio/cdplayer to do this. Does the black plastic dash bezel (around the radio and vents) just pull right off? It looks like it does but before I go pulling away with my trim puller I wanted to make sure. Oh I should mention my wife's car is a 05 Vert. Thanks in advance! ---------- 2005 PT Cruiser GT Convertable, Cool Vanilla

I have a 06 and there are screws in the vents on mine and a few other hidden places if I remember correctly. ---------- Greg nhcruzer "Live in the Moment" NEPTCC 06 Limited Turbo Dual Exhaust Cold air intatake Inferno undercar lighting AR Casino Chrome rims

We have an '03 Touring and an '04 Limited. Both of them came apart as follows: After disconnecting the negative battery cable, pry out the window switch assembly. Unlock the red locking tab and disconnect the electrical plug from the back of the switch assembly. Remove one screw in the opening where the switch was. Remove the heat / ac control knobs (or, you can look for them later). Pry the Instrument Panel Center Bezel off. If you should find it necessary to remove the radio completely, there is a locking ring on the antenna plug. Pull the ring away from the radio while pulling the antenna plug out. ---------- I'm at that awkward age. I ask for the senior discount at restaurants, but my PT still has Stage 1 and dual 10" subwoofers.

On the three I have had apart there was a screw underneath the window control for the radio bezel. It may be encessary to use a small screwdriver to release the catches when disconnecting the wires from the window control. Don't force it--be gentle. O, and don't forget to remove the knobs from the vents when you remove the other control knobs. ---------- DC1 #1610--5-speed. Its got some stuff. '03 Inferno Red--Its getting some stuff too!

This is all very good information, I was wondering how I could save this. Oh yeah "copy" & "paste" Ha! Any way this will be beneficial when I get those chrome vents. ---------- Crystal~ Life is like road trip & really sweet in a PT Cruiser! #1276
