Quote: The Car Show IS NOT on the Boardwalk anymore Have you been to Broadway at the Beach? It's not really a boardwalk but rather concrete sidewalks around a bunch of small shops. Cars were not allowed on the wooden boardwalk area along the water. I agree part of the draw was parking in the "mall" area around the shops. But logistically it was tough trying to get 150 to almost 300 cars inside the mall area. It would take 2 to 3 hours in and out. The show itself was only 5 hours. We would have to start leaving the hotel at 6:30am to start getting cars in the mall before it opened up at 9:00am. I liked parking in the mall area. I also appreciated that extra hour or two of sleep in the morning and that extra hour or two of rest after the show. Last time we parked in the mall, it took a team of about 12 people plus lead cars taking PT's to the various entrances around the mall that were wide enough for a car to enter. Only a couple places were big enough for PT's with trailers. Clubs would get upset because no one area in the mall was big enough for them all to park together. I understand why the planners chose the parking lot this year. It was a breeze getting in and out. And from the edge of the show car area to one of the mall entrances and bathrooms was probably about 100 yards. Not much of a walk. There are pluses and minus' to every decision including this one. It's tough to come up with a plan that everyone likes. ----------

I uploaded all my pictures from the Photo Show to a Webshots Album also so you can take your time looking at them and can download or order prints on any pictures. You can click on the "slide show" or just look at them one at time. The Photo Show is kinda just for fun.
