Rough/erratic idle

 Wanted to throw this out there that it might help others. I started having issues with the idle a couple weeks ago. Rough doesn't really describe it as well as erratic does. One thought that I have had concerning my dreamer is it may have the faulty valve cover that allows oil to collect where it will get sucked into the cylinder and burned (whether or not it does it still burns some oil). So, with this oil burning in mind I knew there could be issues with carbon build up. Having done the plugs and wires within the last 10 k miles I figured it must be fuel related--possibly injectors (they can be affected by carbon too). Not wanting to fork out the bucks for injectors yet I went for an additive. I got Lucas Oil gas additive. Never tried it before. I was at the autoparts store I deliver mail to looking at the additives and one of the countermen came up and told me Lucas was most cost effective. I got it and the next time I went to fill up with gas I poured in about 4 oz before putting in the gas. By the time I drove the 5 miles home, there was already an improvement. Having made another roundtrip to work and home, the idle is now near perfect. Sure beats the cost of a set of injectors.
