Rough Idle after Plug Change Can't Post

I just changed my plugs to the Autolite Iridiums and I closed their factory gap from .50 to .42. The rough idle has gotten noticably better, but occassionally at a light I still feel a random spudder or can feel the car shake. Is this just the typical idle for the PT or should I close the gap a little more on the plugs? I did read on this site about some people having their plugs gapped as low as .38. What do you guys think?

Did you replace the wires? The wires are where most of the problems come from, the OEM wires are junk.

Yes I did replace the wires as well. I replaced them with Autolite factory replacements. They looked identical to the thickness of the factory wiring, so they weren't a performance upgrade. I really didnt' like the way the car was running so I just got what was accessible at a local store instead of ordering online and waiting for delivery.

Plug gap seems to have an effect on idle. I run my gap at .30" and it is soooo smooth, try reducing the plug gap to .35

the factory gap was changed to 0.40. I would gap your plugs to at least 0.35. and do yourself a favor and order performance wires. it's pointless to have perfomance plugs and oem style wires.
