I think this club is super and have met so many terrific folks across the country - many in chat, some even in real live person.
Hubby and I also belong to our local Monterey Bay PT club, and have our affiliation with PTCC.
Hope you find that you can enjoy the same experience meeting many new friends and having lots of fun activities to participate in. ---------- Cruzberg _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ 2001 Limited Edition Patriot Blue Chrome belt-line Chrome grille '59 Caddie Tail Lights Lexani wheels CRUZN FUSION PT Cruisers of Silicon Valley

Hello Ed and welcome to the PTCC. I am located in Yonkers New York and have a member for about 6 months. As far as meeting new people, I have made a multitude of friends throughout the country in our chat room.In regards to technical help I have had every question answered by Mike or other members within minutes or hours. The cost of membership was probably recouped in the first week.I welcome you to come visit us in chat because strangers are not present just friends we haven't met. Quote: Thank you PTCCMike. Is there any comments from the NY peanut gallery? The quality of any club in because of the quality of its members. To answer your question, yes, this is a great club. From Mike.....running this club, the website, and all of the other things he does, down to 99% of the members, you will find some of the best people around. The big thing for you to think about is what can you do to help the club grow. Get involved, get to know the members, and get ready to have lots of fun. Go to some of the events, meet the members and see why we believe that this is the best club around. For now...... enjoy and BE SAFE ---------- Jack Smith (Smittys PT) Webmaster Colorado Cruiser Club

Railnut, I can only echo what Smitty, Cruzberg, and Rn have already said--this is a great club! I've been a member for one year now, and it has been a blast. I've been to new places, met new friends, and had new experiences I would have never had if it weren't for the club. The members are great--I've gotten answers to all my PT questions, and even gotten some encouragement when I'm down! This is really a great group of folks. ----------

Hi, Railnut! Just noticed this thread again because I have been so busy CRUISING and having fun I had negelected to answer you. I have been a club member here for over three years and in my opinion it is the most entertaining buck I ever spent. The chatroom is a total blast, with loads of cute smileys and features to spice things up and lots of fun folks, visiting, sharing info, cheering each other up when we are down, encouraging, and most of all getting wild and crazy and laughing and joking and teasing. If you enjoy laughing in a safe and fun atmosphere, that is it. If it is car and technical advice you are after, Mike is an invaluable resource, having once been a Chrysler service tech, and will answer any questions you have with helpful expertise not available from most club boards. Others are generous sharing car and computer techie info here, too. I don't know squat but am glad to share my expertise, too, whether you want it or not! ( Well, I have a couple of good recipes!) Most of us would not have made the great friends and had the fun experiences with them at events if it were not for Mike and Cindy starting this original club, and in my opinion it is still the best cruiser fun around. There are some great PTCC-affiliated events too, such as Cruiserpalooza, Cruiserfest, Cruise the Rockies and Wild Wild West, among many other regional and local events, and think DEF and Joe have some great stuff coming up in your area. I tend to be the loyal type who dances with who brung me, and I'm still dancin'! ----------

Railnut, I think there's a consensus here.... PTCC is definitely the best club around! It has become my extended family! They will brighten your day, make you laugh (even when you feel like crawling under a rock), and be there for you in difficult times. The friendships and support you will find in the PTCC is PRICELESS! Fab, great meeting you the other day! Right now it seems we are the only 2 in NE TN! Maybe between the 2 of us we can fix that! I hope you have good luck with establishing a P/T Cruiser Club!We had one for all of Tennessee, but things seem to have fallen apart as I have not heard a word from the President since I missed attending the 4th of July Parade in 2002. For the things I did attend it was a very enjoyable experience and I met a bunch of great people while attending a variety of functions! Gerald Johnson gfrj103@aol.com Oak Ridge, TN 37830
