Spark plugs and wires... again :-) Can't Post

Hello all,
You guys have been so great to help in the past so here I am again... LOL
I read lots of threads about spark plugs and wires and took your advice about the spark plugs. Hubby put the Champion Copper Plus 470 and gapped them at .040 per what we read here and now he says that if the PT had wings it would fly! Dance

We started looking up info about it because we are getting a code P0304 (I also learned how to figure out the codes here!) Kissy so we figure we need to change out the wires also. I just want to verify the info of which wires to use. Most of what I read was from 2005 so I want to make sure the info is updated. We called the fellow down at the parts store and he said he wasn't seeing the Magnacor 40231 listed so we were thinking that maybe the wires have changed in the last few years.

My question is... LOL ... which are the best wires to use for an '03 Turbo?

Thanks so much,
Linda

I don't know if you can say there is a "best" wire set. There are several good manufacturers so there is some choice. I run Taylor ThunderVolt 8.2's which are good, spiral wound, high temperature, low resistance and reasonably priced. They also come in different colors.

I like the 8mm MSd wires in Black. $45 Summit. their build quality is really good. at http://www.modernperformance.com/product_info.php?cPath=174_268&products_id=1685 you can read all about the different plug wires.
