Supercharger? Can't Post

I am investigating the possibility of adding a supercharger. Here is a link to the one I'm considering. Has anybody here tried something like this?

Re: [sent1] Supercharger? Can't Post

I know there were a lot that had problems in the early years. The Chrysler computer would not talk to supercharger computer. I do not know if they ever got it figured out. That was with the Wipple Superchargers.

Re: [SmittysPT] Supercharger? Can't Post

Having visited the whipple website I don't see that they have a superchager that is of the same style as the Paxton. I know besides electronics there is the matter of space to put it especially if one doesn't want to do body mods to accomodate it. A friend of mine suggested buying an electronics package first to see how well it would piggy-back with the PTCs system. He also reccomends turbo over supercharger due to exhaust driven over belt driven. I did find ATI Procharger the is direct drive off the crank but is obviously too big to work on PTC the way I would like. Roll eyes

Still investigating possibilities...Wink
