Hi, Mike... BTW, you're doing a fine job... I know the task becomes a bit thankless at times, but you're helping us build something that very few other car clubs have... a comprehensive "knowledgebase" of our preferred cars, dating back to BEFORE the start of production. The Corvette crowd would kill for data such as we are amassing. Anyway, I was wondering whether you'd ever considered a Technical/Performance forum, and/or searchable database, where we could have access to anecdotal owner experiences (such as my ongoing troubles) as well as the already-available TSB base. Imagine, a year from now, being able to research and diagnose a PT problem from a growing database of owner experiences, find out little service tips & tricks without having to sit in on meetings down at the dealership, or easily reference the supplier or this or that performance enhancing device, as well as finding out whether said device did anything good or bad to other owners' cars. At the very least, could you open a forum for Technical information? I hate posting tales of the Oil Burner on the general forum... they tend to dampen the moods of other owners.

Stu, Your suggestion is right on! In the meantime, please don't hesitate to post your experiences, good and bad. Doesn't dampen my mood, just keeps us all one step ahead of the "rare" service manager that may want to blow us off for our A.R. insistence for perfection It's the complaining, whining, and blamming that gets old. I would also suggest a special forum for those that do want to complain, whine and blame. It could be called the Wannabee Whiners Forum

John, I appreciate your attitude, especially still being in BX. I understand peoples' frustration and need to vent, considering I keep saying i am going to ignore those posts and end up responding to the whinning anyway. The Ask PTCCMike forum is the first place i go to check for new postings

I like this idea of a technical forum, or searchable database by general categories, like oil burning, electrical problems, etc. I would hope most of the more common problems would have a technical service bulletin. Of course as long as the posts are archived from this section, we kind of have a way of finding a reference to a problem that someone else had. Its just that it may grow to be a lot to search through.
