Tinting the convertible......??? Can't Post

Hi all,
I'm wanting to get the windows in my convertible tinted. I was wondering if anyone else had and if there were any special tricks to it. Every other car I've had the windows tinted on have told me that I had to keep the windows rolled up for 24 to 48 hours depending on humidity etc to give them time to dry and bond to the glass. I was curious how this would work on the ragtop as the windows do that little dip-down-back-up every time you open and close the doors. If anyone has had their's tinted I'd be curious to know how it turned out. Thanks in advance, RandyDance

We got the windows on our convertible tinted about 2 months ago and was told not to roll them down and that the little bit they do go down would not be a problem. We have not had any problems.

I had the windows tinted on my Convertable about 2 months ago also, no problem with the little bit the windows goes down, only thing i did not like was having to wait for almost 5 days before I could put down the top as you cannot roll down the windows untill the film is dry. I survived the ordeal and love the tinted windows even done the rear glass also.
have a super cruizin day Flag USA

BowWe had our windows tinted blue to match the outside of it. Shes a 05 convertible. Yes you need to leave the windows up for aleast 24 hours. but make sure you trim about 1/8 to 1/4 inch away from the edge of the window. Other than that, go for it and enjoy the sun.
