I have BF Goodwrench Traction T/R 215 50 R17, Just had em put on yesterday, needed a new set. Do the nitrogen filled tires actually do anything? ---------- 2003 GT Cruiser Fully Loaded Borla Dual Exhaust K&N Drop In filter Viper Remote Start/ Keyless entry

It helps the most on long trips. keeps tires cooler and holds a more consistent psi in the tire. It sounds like snake oil at first with all the saves gas BS which for the 95% of folks that never check their tires psi. but for us other guys that check every month it mainly only helps remove moisture out of the air and runs cooler, and if you set it to 38 it will run 39 to 40psi vs when i was using air i would set it at 36 and it would run 39 to 42 once the tires were hot. ---------- 04 "SRT-4" PT Cruiser w/ AutoStick (in Sea Mist Green, 1 of 146) Stage 1, Mopar BOV, MagnaFlow exhaust, Mopar 7.5mm wires, Mopar-Bosch Plugs gapped at .035, Mopar air filter, unrestricted air box, H&R sport springs, Progress 27mm front sway bar, Energy Suspension motor mount inserts, 06' tail lights, 06' Hood emblem, T-handle on rear glass, SRT-4 badges, factory chrome accent group, chrome door cups, 8" Mopar sub, ArmourFend ClearBra.

Nitrogen filled tires have there bonuses. I think if your doing mainly city driving... not worth it. Highway.. sure. But think of it this way... air is free.. haha. I have some in my snow tires and well one thing that sucks is sure... it might be a bit better.. but for $5 a tire and a tire start leakin and you have to top it off each time. It could end up costing you more to keep filling it then you would save on gas. Right now i still have to stock rubber on my rims from factory but i'll have to change them soon.. the wear bar is really close.. haha. ----------

its a one time fee every where you buy it meaning you pay the $5 once and just back to that same place to have them filled. And even if it goes flat fill it w/ air, have the tire repaired and then refill it where you bought the tires for free. The savings in gas only comes to those who don't check their air pressure. NO2 seeps out 4 time slower than air. thus the Psi is sustained 4 time longer. ---------- 04 "SRT-4" PT Cruiser w/ AutoStick (in Sea Mist Green, 1 of 146) Stage 1, Mopar BOV, MagnaFlow exhaust, Mopar 7.5mm wires, Mopar-Bosch Plugs gapped at .035, Mopar air filter, unrestricted air box, H&R sport springs, Progress 27mm front sway bar, Energy Suspension motor mount inserts, 06' tail lights, 06' Hood emblem, T-handle on rear glass, SRT-4 badges, factory chrome accent group, chrome door cups, 8" Mopar sub, ArmourFend ClearBra.

All depends on were you go.. here if it goes flat.. they charge you again for the fill.. the only time here they won't charge you is if you just want it toped off 3lbs... then they will do it.. ----------
