Tires for dc 2 Can't Post

I want to change soon my tires, my goodyears really suck, I lost 2 on the streets and bougth new ones, now I have 2 others with slices and bumps, never happed that to me with other tires, so I want to change them, but I don`t know which ones will fit my stock wheels, I want more wide, but not so low with a nice pattern (Ilike the GFORCE that the srt4 has) , I remenber I saw a topic somewhere about this, but cannot find it

As you know the streets in Mexico are bigger than a pool. The stock tires really sucks ! I bought 4 Hankook 225/50/17" and the quality have no complain, they´re really good for the daily battle

Re: [IvAnOv] Tires for dc 2 Can't Post

I had BFG g-force tires on for a while, and they were much better than the Goodyears. Sold them though when Dunlop sponsored me and gave me a set of their FM901 tires. These are lower profile than the Goodyears, I think in both cases I had 215/45/17 and they fit fine on the stock rims. The Dunlops are good too.

I would go with a 215 width tire if you could, can't have too much tread, especially with a turbo.....

I just purchased the MAXXIS MA-V1 in a 225X45X17 and they work fine on the stock GT wheels. They are an awesome tire for the money.

Thank you very much for your answers, is a shame that the stock tires can support a wider tire, anyway I will keep lookig for the recomendations you post Bow
