It is with a VERY heavy heart and tearful eye, that I post an email I recieved this morning.....I've been a fan, an admirier and a learner of a man they named Dan Fogelberg. The talent of such a musician will live on forever.....thanks Dan, Heaven's a little brighter today. =========================================================================== Dearest Friends and Loving Fans of Dan Fogelberg: For 9 years you have supported Dan's gifts of music and lyrics through this website. It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved artist. He indeed gave us a gift that we never can repay and he will always be in our hearts and souls. Since Dan announced his cancer diagnosis in 2004, thousands and thousands of you had sent him wishes of encouragement, prayers and positive thoughts. He treasured each and every message. We had the honor of sending all of the wishes in book form to Dan so that he could read all this encouragement. We know these heartfelt prayers and tributes gave him and Jean strength, hope and comfort. You confirmed the strength and integrity of his musical legacy through your words over and over again. This legacy will remain forever within our hearts as we all continue to reflect upon the soundtracks of our lives as we listen to the music and share it with future generations. Please join us in honoring Dan's gifts and his full, inspiring life by sending your condolences to: http://thelivinglegacy.net/condolences.html Sincerely, Deborah Jelinek and Laurie Williams
