Trunk scuffs Can't Post

I've had my vert since late july '05 and after opening the trunk a few times i noticed that it's leaving scuff marks. I haven't used this because i wanted to have it checked out before it got worse. i finally brought to the dealer today to see what they can do. has anyone else noticed this on their ride?
Thanks

If the scuff marks are from the truck lid, then its out of adjustment. Make them adjust it.Wave

Sorry to hear about your scuffs. We have had our since April 2004 and no problems so far. We even have the spoiler. Good Luck!

Thanks for the replies everyone. The dealer said that it was from the boot and buffed them out. Hopefully they will not return!?

Wow the dealer scuffed them out! I noticed that my PT (which i got with 8k on it) has some minor scuffs down the back of the trunk kinda like some one sldi out through the back and down the rear...a lil of the mat black paint is missing round the top rim too...I have the manufacturers warranty plus the extra dealer full wrap. Do you think I should bring it in. Also a wierd circular imperfection within thw windwhield popped into my vision as it is right front of my eyeshot...cannot get it out of the glass...would it be picky of me to bring these things up to the delaer...i honestly hate them a bunch of scammers
Could try, worht the shot i guess.

definately worth bringing it in to see. the worst that can happen is that they won't do it under the warranty. go in with a smile and see what happens.
good luck
p.s. it's not picky of you. you have every right to want your cruiser, or any other car for that matter, to be perfect.

Your right, I will go in and show them these things. Perhaps my scuff marks were from the boot as well? They are located from the very top of the rear above the rear brake light, and flow down a bit beneath the brake light. Strange this is my car didn't come with a boot so....
I'll bring her in and see what they say. Plus I HATE having an odd thing on the windshield, very disctracting.
Ciao!
