Vinyl Decals Can't Post

Hey guys, my brother just bought a vinyl cutter to start making decals and such. I was wondering if anyone had a clue what people were looking for. We were trying to come up with designs, but I we could think of was the typical: Flames, Skulls, Flaming Skulls, etc. I racked my brain and couldn't think of anything.

I started thinking about what I would like on my cruiser, but the only thing I could think of was maybe some Cool Vanilla colored vinyl to cover my back windows (making it look like a panel). Or maybe body color pillars to make frame the windows more (kinda like the HHR does).

If this thread is inapropriate, I appologize. I *think* it's ok... I'm not trying to sell anything, just looking for ideas.Cheers

Cheering Hi Retro, I hope this helps as would make me feel good if I helped instead of always asking for help. I had a vinyl overlay done on my car, is that what you mean? I never thought of it as a decal, but maybe. If you check out Purple Jalopy, they have a bunch of them and might give you some ideas. Mine is called Flower Power. Jody is the owner and is very nice. There are also detailed instructions on how to lay out the overlay and install it. Hope this helps, Mickey Wave

CoolHow about made to order vinyl decals and such?? This way you could give the person exactly what he/she has in mind and you know they will like them.I have no idea as to costs of production and pricing but I am sure it would be a winner.....Best of luck and God Bless......Mike

Re: [Cruiser RN] Vinyl Decals Can't Post

Cheering Hi Mike, When I had my graphic put on-- purely by accident, I took it to a small sign company by work, just to ask questions. This man designs graphics, decals, magnetic clings. He installed my graphic as I had already received mine. He showed me what he could do with his computer, amazing. His partner put on my custom small window decals and messed one up- now, I know why I do not attempt to do one- so the sign man, made me 10 more for free, copying, the one he had not put on the window. I also had him make my magnetic clings. One is a replica of our door logo at my work. It is amazing what is possible with a computer. As far as pricing, so much more reasonable that vendors. All the work I had done, installation, two custom magnets, 2 big decals put on, plus the small ones, $75.00. I have some door scuff guards that he is putting on for me, cost- 00.00 free. Sometimes you luck out and find a friend. God Bless, Mickey Wave

The pricing in your area may be much higher, remember I live in small town Nebraska, where people still try to help each other out.

Yeah....I have a Honda Goldwng in black with the # plate panthr (panther was goneSmile) and I bought some panther decals for it...there you go!! I can see all those young (and not so young) girls who loves horses with decals all over the place. People like to personalise their belongings......decals do that.. Also they are cheap to post (thinking Ebay) Dave

Re: [daveinozbikes] Vinyl Decals Can't Post

Wow! Thanks for all the ideas! I think you guys are right about the animal approach. As soon as I read that I thought about how many things my sister has bought just because they had horses on them. lol.

Mike had a great idea too. Allowing them to choose what they want would be a good idea too.

Thanks again! If anyone else has ideas, feel free to post!! My brother and I thank you!CheersCheersCheers
