Whistling Window and SoCal cruises?

So after 1000 miles in a week (!) we have found no significant issues with our convertible. However, I drove it for the first time with the top down, front windows down but 1/4 windows up. The passenger side was whistling dixie. No big deal, I just put it down, but is there a way to reduce this or are we just stuck with it? Other than that and the practicing my catcher's squat to get into the trunk (suggestion to Chrysler - make the trunk fold down on future models and make a tailgate), this is the greatest car. If anybody knows the answer I am in your debt. Also, I haven't seen too many people on here from Southern Cal but was curious if anybody knows of any cruises in this area? We would really like to try one and meet other PT owners. Thanks for your help and keep up the great posts everybody. ----------

Just wanted to say HI. Wind blowing over the quarter window will make noise... just keep it down. There are lots and lots of cruisers in S CA. Some will post here or you can also post on the "new member" link. PS.... Take a cruise our way and join us for Cruise The Rockies IV. Lots of great CA kids coming so far. For now, Enjoy and BE SAFE.... ---------- Jack Smith (Smittys PT) Webmaster Colorado Cruiser Club

Thanks for the info. I kind of figured on the whistling but, you never know, and asking can't hurt. The daughter always complains when the top is down so I thought that the 1/4 window up might help. She will just have to get used to it. I would love to go to Cruise the Rockies but we will be in Vegas visting family that weekend. Maybe next time, it sounds really fun. Hopefully some of the Socal people on here will hook up with us. If you see any send 'em our way. ----------
