Wierd problem(s) with my turbo

I recently inherited a 2003 PT cruiser GT with 23K miles. a few blemishes (worst of all is that the bottom grill covering the intercooler fell off.... twice (Two new bumpers and it still doesn't stay on!) Mesh works quite well. Anyway. Recently there has been a strange knocking noise comming from the engine. at first my father, another ptcruiserclub member (PT Chitown) thought it was something in the turbo. Now after he drove it a few times, he thinks its the blow off valve. If I get the mopar BOV should that fix the problem? It's on my list of things to buy, but so is a Stage 1, new audio system, and new rims/tires, but I don't have the money for them. And my other more pressing matter is that there is oil in my intake. not a few drops, but the bottom of my intake is covered in oil, and the holes where the intake extends to fit into the frame to hold it is filled with oil. The oil that came out of it is almost brown, think dog poo brown (gross, but the closest thing.) I checked the dipstick yesterday as well after I saw the oil in the intake, the oil in the crankcase is the same color as the oil in the intake so I know its fresh. I'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow to get looked at, and to see what my "friend" discount can get me for the mopar BOV. Can someone find a pic of the turbo cruiser's engine and point out where the BOV should be. so I know where I have to work, hopfully it shouldn't be that hard of a job considering I took a year of autos in school. ---------- 2003 GT Cruiser Fully Loaded Borla Dual Exhaust K&N Drop In filter Viper Remote Start/ Keyless entry

Oil at the bottom of the intake is normal. Just clean it out. I don't understand what a knock has to do with the stock surge valve (bov). ---------- 2005 Stone White SRT4 2004 Graphite Auto

thats where we isolated the noise to, we could be wrong, but we think its coming from the BOV. ---------- 2003 GT Cruiser Fully Loaded Borla Dual Exhaust K&N Drop In filter Viper Remote Start/ Keyless entry
