With a broken heart I had to give up my 05 vert. Since it is winter, I had the wind screen stored away when I traded the car in. I bought the screen in the spring of '07. Anyone interested in a slightly used windscreen? ----------

I think that with the price of gasoline I'd keep that extra tank in the trailer. Just in case you see some cheap gas on a trip. Transfering the fuel to the main tank shouldn't be that hard. ---------- big jim

I don't know how this got here, but, I had not thought of that and it might be a good idea, it still has the intank electric fuel pump wiring and fuel lines to the front, a transfer hose and power hook up would be all that was needed, that would give me extra range with 30 gal of gas on long out in the middle of no where trips too. Right now I am having trouble trying to make hinges for the tailgate to work properly, but it is slowly coming along. Thanks for the Idea, and others are welcome. ---------- '05 GT Dream Cruiser Series 4. No.1109 My Mods PT Trailer Project Our PTs

I am not sure, I have been looking at my '05 convertible hinges and wondering if I could flip them to the bottom or not, I have tried flat "shed door" type hinges but they don't have enough clearance as the bottom of the hatch / tailgate is rounded not straight across. I am almost ready to buy a carbon fiber hatch cover and just use "Hood Pins" and pull it off when I need to load or unload. ---------- '05 GT Dream Cruiser Series 4. If that's the case why not look at pickup's tail gate set up or the way the Ford Bronco did it. ---------- big jim
