It won't blow off nearly as often as it would with a manual. You'll love Stage 1. ---------- 2005 Stone White SRT4 2004 Graphite Auto

I'm looking forward to mean green's response here - he'll most likely be talking from experience with his SRT-4 and PT turbo. So it should be a good read. Meanwhile, here is the wikipedia definition - see the "disadvantages" section. Personally, that dreaded huff and puff sound that is THE selling point of the BOV for many is it's BIGGEST DISADVANTAGE. I much prefer a car that can deliver LOTS of power seemingly effortlessly. Save me the drama... just open up that can of go juice and let me gulp it down nice and smoooooth. But that's just me... I must be gettin' old or somethin'... ---------- 2001 silver Limited-Touring (leather/suede, 4W disk, traction, heated mirrors & all :-) Mods: Tokico HP all around / Energy Suspension Master Kit / K&N drop-in / R1 Concepts drilled & slotte disks all around / Enkei RPF1 16x7 wheels & Conti Extreme Contact rubber / Prestige APS620 remote starter

ive never used the mopar bov (blue plate), remember that the mopar bov is really just an "adaper" that will let the factory bov vent to the outside. if you want a cheap (in price) outside venting bov go with it. but make sure you install it right and seal it so it wont leak boost and cost you some performance. i use to have a greddy type s and type rs. i know am only using the factory bov. with the air box mod you will be able to hear it enough as if it were to be venting to the outside. i am now in process of putting on the hks bov. ----------

I have one on my automatic. I love it. so does my wife. it no big deal every time you let off the throttle it will go off. Plain and simple. and w/ the stage one its really loud (outside) a turbo lite - you are going to wake up to a whole new world my friend. you are going from 8psi to 12.5 so you are going from 180hp and 200ftlb to 235ph and 260ftlb adding 55hp and 60ftlbs but i bet you already knew that. ---------- 04 "SRT-4" PT Cruiser w/ AutoStick (in Sea Mist Green, 1 of 146) Stage 1, Mopar BOV, MagnaFlow 2 1/2 cat back exhaust, MSD black 8.5mm wires, Stock Champion Plugs gapped at .035, S&B Cold air intake, H&R sport springs, Progress 27mm front sway bar, Energy Suspension motor mount inserts, 06' tail lights, 06' Hood emblem, T-handle on rear glass, SRT-4 badges, factory chrome accent group, chrome door cups, 8" Mopar sub, ClearBra. 205/50ZR17 Sumitomo HTRIII tires
