Hey All: This newbie has a dumb question. I just bought my 05 Convert, and am looking into chrome rocker panel trim. (My neighbor) mentioned that the convertible has a longer door measurement that the hardtop, so I'd better be careful before ordering. Is that true? If so, by how much? Can you get the chrome rocker panel trim for the converts? (seems like alot of cool stuff is only for the hard tops!) Any advice would be appreciated.

howdy 1RADMOM and welcome to the club. I don't know of anyplace that is making a rocker panel chrome for the comvet. but you can get some stuff from the auto parts store that is chrome tape that says rocker panel tape, it is chrome and sticks on. you will need to trim the stuff to fit. I hope this helps

Hi 1RADMOM, thanks for the comment on the trailer. I got the trailer from a local man that makes these trailers. He has others also. It does match the PT real well with the fat fenders. My PT is Midnight Blue but it sure does look purple sometimes in the right lite.
