dream cruiser nightmare update Can't Post

DanceWell, I get the car back from the dealer and today on the way to work it stalls and will not start. It had to be towed to the nearest dealership, I only waited abut 2 hours. for the tow truck after contacting roadside assistance. Now all the idle problems finally came to a head with a no start condition and no error codes showing on the on board computer.MadMadMadMadMadMadMadMadMadMadMadMadMadMadMadMadMad

This is strike two, Two weeks the first time at the dealer for the idle problem and lord knows how long this time. After the third time on the same problem it's eligible for the lemon law!!!!!!!!!!

Three weeks in the shop and finally back on the road, It was a defective PCM.

What I find amazing is that they have had it all this time and not taken it out on the road themselves! Or have they? Would have been good for it to die with the service manager behind the wheel. When I was having problems, my dealer took it over night himself, Ruled out very quickly it was not something stupid I was doing. I'm wondering if you should consider a different dealer?
Hate to see a Dream Cruiser in trouble!

Thanks for the reply, My Cruiser is now at a different dealer who, according to the service manger, is working on it as I type this reply. LOL. So far I'm very disappointed with the service of two Chrysler dealership service departments. This dose not include the dealership where my Cruiser is at now. This is the first visit there. Hopefully they can resolve the idle/stalling/ no start conditions. One would think that the last concern you would have with a new car would be being towed off the side of the road or stalling and creating a traffic hazard.

I'll post further developments in this ongoing NIGHTMARE CRUISER saga.

My son is a service writer at a Dodge dealership. He does take a customers vehicles home when problems can not be solved by a technician.

Sorry to hear you are having SO many problems with your DC4... I sure hope that they can find an easy fix for the problem... I would hate to see a "very" limited edition car like our DC4's get the axe and be branded "Lemon"...
