lonedog & Medicine Woman Can't Post

Hi All

I am lonedog from Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia. I was born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa (Sac/Fox heritage), where I attended West High and played varsity basketball. On graduating from West, I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic for 6 years and worked at WOC-TV in Davenport, Iowa, as camerman and production manager. Graduated from Palmer with a Doctorate and a Dgeree in Radiology.
Upon graduation from Palmer I moved to Australia to work for a couple of Yank Chiropractors in Wangaratta, Victoria. Lasted with them for only two months and then set up private practice in Tumut, New South Wales, in the Australian Alps.
After a short period I decided I would come back to the States, but a friend convinced me to stay here - which I did. Since I had sold all my equiptment, etc., I bought an old city bus and converted it into a traveling home and moved to Orange, New South Wales, where I worked at a Psychiatric Hospital and thought about getting a doctorate in Psychiatry - changed my mind after working in this place!
Traveled then to Sydney, New South Wales, and worked in a book shop for awhile before going to Kirrabati in the South Pacific. Remained here for three months and then returned to Tumut where I established a private practice for 12 years. Met and married Medicine Woman, who is a day trader on the stock market and a professional artist.
After 12 years in Tumut, we moved to Tumbarumba, New South Wales, also in the Australian Alps, about 60km from Tumut, where we had a practice on 10 acres and then developed a fuschia nursery and exclusive gift shop and bed and breakfast - were busy.
We were in Tumbarumba for 21 years and then moved to Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, where we presently have a clinic and reside - have been here almost 6 years. At the present I travel to our Tumbarumba clinic 2 days a week and our Temora clinic 1 day, plus practice 2 days a week in Wagga Wagga.
We bought our PT in 2006, and electric blue, Touring GT and haven't looked back yet. What a great vehicle. We have placed new chrome AU racing wheels on her, put an extreme exhaust on, LED tailights, pod, air horn, scoop and chrome to suit her - hopefully can post some photos!
We are members of PT Crsuiers Downunder (NSW) Inc. and PT Cruiser Car Club South Australia Inc.
The members in Wagga Wagga are very involved and do a lot of cruises, show & shines and events together, plus with New South Wales and Victorian members at large.
These are great clubs and Medicine Woman and I look forward to many good times on this Club forum and probably as members also.
We would be interested in learning of anyone in Iowa, or Waterloo, Iowa, who may be in this Club or visit this site, who have a PT. Or of anyone who may have contact with anyone in that state.
I will try and figue out how to post some photo's of 'Blue Cloud', and hope you enjoy.
Until later -
Take Care
Lonedog

Hi young fella,

Great PT you have there. Is that a shale green colour? If so, very rare colour over in Australia. Really nice. Have a friend in Wagga Wagga with a shale green and he's done his up well also.

Re: [lonedog] lonedog & Medicine Woman Can't Post

Greetings,

Thanks for the complement.
My PT is Steel Blue Pearl. It was around for 2 years, but is is sort of rare in my area. Most of the steel blue's are 2003 turbo models instead of 2002 classics.

I know over here the rare colors are Aquamarine (which may be onyx green), possibly toupe and midnight blue or patriot blue I can not tell the difference too much, Graphite is also hardly seen. However the rarest color has to be Seamist Green Metallic.

How are ya goin Mike and Ginny? Thanks for the reply.

Went to webshots and had a look - well Mike - really like the use of turquoise flames and stripping on the black - the PT really looks great - not quite sure about the fella thoughRoll eyes Ha! Ha! Didn't see the young lady however - shy - just taking the pictures!!!! Come on kid!

Ginny, you have done a great job on your woody PT. Like the sorrowful donkey and how you have carried the theme throughout - great job! I suppose Mike is going to say he did all the work - never!!!!!Dance

Hi Elder,

The ehaust we have is a 4" stainless stell Extreme muffler - gives me a great 'note'. Have also put on a Monza sport intake Pod which gives me a bit more, plus better petrol consumption.
