power window drop down(convertible) Can't Post

Anyone having problems with the auto window drop down feature on the '05 convertible? It seems that the passenger side window and sometimes the driver's side freeze up and don't auto drop down when the door is opened. This usually occurs when it's freezing temps or after it rains or snows and the temp drops. Just wondering if this is normal?

NO!!! All my windows crapped out on me after about 3 months of driving. DC must have got a bad batch of relay switches for the auto drop feature cause A LOT of people have had to have them replaced. Take it to the dealer the next time it freezes up and they will install some new ones under warranty!

Make sure it's not just the rubber tread on the outside of your window being frozen to the glass. This has coaused my windows to not drop on my 05 convert this winter. Just use a credit card or a thin screwdriver with a flat edge to separate the glass from the rubber stripping and you are home free.

If this is happening in warm temps then it's the relay switch issue I guess...
