I'm a newbie here but I don't think you'll find anyone on this site who would discourage you from owning a PT Cruiser. Mine's an '02 and I love it. Just looking at it parked outside the kitchen window gives me a rush. Driving it is even better. Decide whether you want a turbo or non-turbo, stick or automatic, and go for it. Steve ----------

Haven't had a single problem in over a year of driving one. I have a basically stock, though fully loaded, Turbo '04 with the autostick (a very nice setup if you have a commute) The only disappointment has been gas mileage (see Turbo & Driver for cause). Even though the PT Crusier has been around for a while it still gets looks. Mine has even passed one of the most stringent tests known to the automotive industry-the 16 year old male approval. If they say it's OK then it must be so. Pick a level (stock, touring, GT or Dream) and go for it! Bill F ----------

A Cruiser can be an everyday driver and then jazzed up for Car Shows. Just came back from the St Louis meet (245 PT's) and we are going to the Kansas City National Meet. Not too many cars allow this much fun! Go for IT!
