rear molding loose - sticking up

I have an 05 dream cruiser and a small problem - except that it is a big problem with the spring weather. The molding along the top of the trunk area keeps coming loose causing the end to stick up. It was sticking up on the left side and was "fixed" by replacing the molding. Now one month later it is sticking up on the right side. The problem is that the top hits the corner of the molding when fully retracted and I'm concerned about cutting the top. I intend to take it back to be "fixed' again. Any suggestions? ----------

Musiccity, I have the same car for over a year and have not had this problem. Living here is Las Vegas I have the top up and down often. This is good info and will keep an eye for the same problem. Thanks for taking the time to let us know. Bob ----------

Not had any issue like that. I did notice today thet the rubber seal at the on the body between the door jambstore loose from the lil plastic tack holding it in place. Will this be an issue, doesn't seem like much but not wanting any unknown leaks to occur. ---------- 2005 Touring Edition Convertible Turbo 2.4L LITE Automatic, cool vanilla, faux Street Edition badging, K&N drop in filter, modded airbox, mini-chrome side flames, chrome gas cap cover, customized rear mud flaps, flying siberian husky fur when top dropped.

I had the plastic piece over the windshield popping up frequently. I would push it down and several days later it would pop up. Took the car to the dealear and they put a whole new piece on across the top of the windshield. No question, warranty issue. ----------
