The MSD 8.5mm (I'd say around 60$..???) are well known.

Magnecor Plug Wires. Choose from 7, 8, or 8.5MM for N/A and the KV8.5 for Turbo'd versions. I've had mine in for 2 years now and zero problems or issues. Prior to the Magnecor wires I installed 2 sets of the OEM Mopar wires, and that was on top of the OEM installed at the factory. 3 sets of Mopars at 34.00 per, or one set of Magnecors for approximately $55.

Common sense.

For more info go to: http://www.magnecor.com/magnecor1/main.htm and click any of the links for more info.

Regards!

Don't bother with the Screamin' Demon. HTey have a higher failure rate than stock, and the stock coil performs just fine...

If it makes you feel better... My girl's non-turbo PT has a SD on it, and she wouldn't bother again... (and she's a gearhead). She didn't put one on her race PT...

(Yes, we have 4 PTs. Mine, her daily driver, her race car, and her mom's)

I don't say that the PT is quicker , but between the 2300-2500 rpm and 4200-4400 rpm is there a better responds

What I meant to say was that you'll likely see that with new decent wires and new properly gapped plugs. I don't think the cil has anything to do with it.

I agree. We've had this conversation many times since the PT came out. All gearheads agree. The Screamin Demon coil does nothing for performance, has a history of melting, cracking, breaking down and is better suited to be a paper weight. The stock coil is more than adequate, even running higher hp that most people dream of running. ROFL

Re: [mean green] spark plug wires. Can't Post

Interesting, I've had my SD coil for about three years and its never melted, cracked, burnt up or any of that. Does it really give you any increased performance? Probably not, but the yellow sticker on it is cool. Also have the Magnecor wires, Whipple SC, catback, and an Airaid. Was any of it going to make the PT run like a Hemicuda? Nope, but to each his own when it comes to modifications.
