squeaky passanger window Can't Post

Hello, I'm the proud owner of a cool vanilla 2007 pt cruiser vert and i absolutely adore it. However, an issue with the passenger window has occurred. When the top is up and the window is rolled all the way up it squeaks and creaks like a mother f.... I'm so disappointedFrownThe rest of the car seems so solid but just that one noise really gets on my nerves. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I'm hesitant to take it to the dealer to see if it can be fixed. Don't want to make it worse.

Best,
Kitty

If it's not a misallignment problem or something loose (mechanical problem), maybe rubber dressing would help? I use Zymol on my rubber once every 6 months or so just to keep them soft and protected.

2005 Bright Silver Convertible, 5 speed with 8 ball knob, chrome door spears, chrome gas cap door, chrome antenna bezel, chrome grill kit, chrome rear bumper pillows, chrome bumper trim, stainless antenna with flames, stainless door panel trim, chrome smoothies with baby moons, 2" wide "gangster" white walls, chrome tail light trim, K&N air filter element in a modified airbox and an oogah horn. Hmmm, what have I forgotten???

I have the very same problem with my 2005 convertible.
I heard the noises described above, but from the driver window.
I had put some oil (sorry, don't know the english word fot it...it is a kind of spray you use, for example, on guns) on the rubber, but it didn't solve the problem.

Thanks for the reply. The dealership is going to send the car to a convertible top specialist. Not feeling very good about this. Chrysler designed the car. They should be able yto fix it ...you would think. Might have to replace the top they said.
