I don't know if you are looking at the convertible or the 4 door, but if you do alot of traveling, the convertible does not have a lot of trunk space. The back seats do not come out, but they do flip up. There is a "pass through" space when the seats are flipped up, but that is not very big either. I love my convertible, but do miss the trunk space I had with the 4 door.

Also, the visors on the 4 door slide back and forth for extra sun blockage, but they do not on the convertible. Another feature I miss on my vert.

Hope this helps you some. Happy Cruisin, Teddi Wave

Re: [BlueHaze] what to look for when buying used Can't Post

I'll be 62 in October. I brought a 2001 LE back in November, right before Thanksgiving. My advice would be to buy if from a known dealer, doesn't have to be a Chrysler dealer, mine came from a Ford dealer, that has been in business for many years and is not a fly by night lot. Run a CarFax on it. While that is no guarantee that their were no problems, it is a step in the right direction. Most of all, if like what you see, buy it and enjoy it. I used one, like any used vehicle, will cost you some in repairs, but that is going to happen with any vehicle. Since this is going to be your third vehicle, I'll assume it won't be used daily.

I got an automatic trans, they say the manual is zippier, maybe so but for me mine is quick enough. Also, I use a two way radio quite a bit. I didn't want to have to think about trying to shift gears with one hand, hold the mic to my mouth with another hand and hold onto the steering wheel with my third hand, wait a minute, I only have two hands, so you see my point :)

So if you see one you like and the price is right, buy and enjoy. I have every day I've had mine so far!

DanceHi williet,

I am 65 and liked the Cruiser look since they came out. Since I couldn't afford a street rod '40 Ford, I was limited. I have had my silver '07 for about a month and a half. I needed something that got better gas mileage than my Hemi Ram 1500 quad cab. I do a lot of hauling food for out local nutrition center, so the Cruiser was perfect. I find myself driving everywhere in it, and leave the truck in the gararge. I got mine from a reputable used car dealer, ran a Car Fax on it, and bought it. For a car that was only 1 year old, I saved a bunch of $$$. I say go for it and get whatever your wallet can afford.

Cheers
