What's new for 2002:
Among many new features for 2002, PT Cruiser gets a hot new look
with factory applied
"ghost-rider" flames to four coordinating exterior color choices,
passenger side armrest, AM/FM radio with CD player, front-passenger underseat
storage bin and a new optional Power Convenience Group for the base model.
Colors - LT. Almond Pearl Metallic Clear Coat and Steel Blue Pearl Coat
Storage Drawer - under seat Non-Locking (now standard instead of option)
Passenger seat arm rest is now included
Vinyl Flames are optional on Black, Cranberry, Red, and Silver - Add $495
2002 5-Speed Manual - Overall Top Gear Ratio changed from 3.2 to 2.8
2002 EPA fuel mileage:
21/29 MPG manual; 19/25 MPG

* It appears some early 2002 5 speed PT Cruisers had
printed window stickers with 20/27 MPG.
After October 2001, 2002 5 speed PT Cruisers had printed window stickers
with 21/29 MPG.
This may be because the official EPA figures were not released until
10/2001.
